A quick and easy project

I recently picked up a copy of the premier issue of Modern Patchwork, and was not sorry I had.  It contains many easy to do, yet beautiful, projects. Most of the members of my art quilt group, Sisters in Cloth, have their own copies, and some have started making various projects, including Debbie Grifka's Quick & Easy Coasters, shown on page 23. Today I, too, made a set of the coasters. They were fun and easy to do; Debbie's directions are easy to follow.

I think I may make quite a few more: first, two more of this design, then more sets for gifts.

By the way, the centers of mine are Cherrywood fabrics. I love the suede look of them.

Thanks, Carol. They're cotton and can take it. It's their job.
