Maybe I'm lazy, maybe I'm frugal, but I have made a number of birthday cards using fabric from my stash that really couldn't be cut up. It's a great piece of fabric, but I am never going to make a quilt out of it. So, here are some simple cards.
I spent more time on the first ones I made, stitching pictures onto card stock, then folding, painting, and punching with fancy punches. I forgot to take pictures.
These are simply fabric fused to heavy watercolor paper. A little foiling, a nice message on the back, and they're done. Sometimes there's jut not time to do anything elaborate. The hardest part was finding the right size envelopes among all those I knew I had saved for a reason.

These are simply WONDERFUL, Ruth Anne -- the fabric looks as though you painted it. I'd love to see close-ups, if you get the time.
