At Friday's Sisters in Cloth meeting, guest Eileen Clark (Odonata Sea Glass Designs) taught us how to make some lovely jewelry from sea glass and silver wire. Here is my piece, which I have already worn:
I have to admit I really like it, although I was not paying attention when Eileen suggested we add beads as we wrapped. I was so intent on securing my curved piece of glass that I thought the beads came later. (See the Sisters in Cloth blog to see the pieces that more attentive people made.) Actually, I like it without the beads. I have a very interesting piece of glass--nice color, curved, and with ridges which could have at one time been a a screw top.
Several of us bought more wire from Eileen, so I guess we are going to squeeze more of this jewelry-making into our busy schedules. I have some great pieces of rocks that I can see turning into something interesting.

I really like your necklace. It is more tailored without beads although I'm sure it would have been nice with them too. If you are going to make several you can experiment with them.
Lovely! Wire-wrapping is fun. You could make another one.
