Almost done

I am finishing up my 12"x12" quilt for the Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) online auction. I expect to get it shipped tomorrow. It is dark and I'm afraid  it won't photograph well for the SAQA website, but that's the way it is. Here is a closeup of the beading I am currently doing. The fabric is one that I painted a while ago on which I used the salt technique, which gives the fabric a bubbly pattern. It's really nice in person.

More pink beads and maybe some blue, if I have any bright enough. Then a label and it's ready to go.

The colors are some of my favorites! Pinks and lavenders are just lovely together. The beading is beautiful!

You have captured the essence of bubbles catching light like little prisms. The piece is luscious.
